Vyjednávání (ne)viditelnosti mezi romskými rodinami v Bogotě

Článek zkoumá, jak viditelnost a neviditelnost formují životy Romů v kolumbijské Bogotě. Prostřednictvím etnografické perspektivy představuje epizody z každodenního života i mimořádných událostí, které jsou součástí romské městské zkušenosti a vycházejí z poznatků nasbíraných během dvanácti let terénního výzkumu. Opírá se o tyto popisy, aby problematizoval zjednodušené chápání dvojice pojmů viditelné/neviditelné, a místo toho k nim přistupuje jako k propojeným vyjednaným strategiím vázaným na každodenní interakce, specifické historické momenty a místní kontexty. Text vztahy Romů a ne-Romů rozvíjí na pozadí tří rozdílných epizod, zahrnujících (i) období strategií “neviditelnosti”, (ii) období vyjednané viditelnosti, kdy probíhaly rozhovory s kolumbijským státem, a (iii) současný stav, kdy rodiny začaly chápat limity procesu uznání etických skupin.Reference
