Romistika v Latinské Americe a Karibiku: Perspektivy a výzvy

Článek se na základní úrovni snaží o zaplnění mezery ve vědomostech o Romech v Latinské Americe a Karibiku (LAK), shodných prvcích i rozdílnostech v jejich diaspoře mimo evropský prostor. Za přispění dat získaných prostřednictvím dotazníku adresovaném padesáti sedmi vědcům, romistům LAK a poznatků prezentovaných v jednotlivých článcích zařazených do tematického ročníku RDž 2021, se následně autoři věnují stručné historii a diverzitě romského osídlení LAK, zpochybnění evropocentristického přístupu pohledem tamější romistiky, rasizaci, stereotypům a uznávání etnických skupin v LAK a pozornost věnují také současnému romistickému výzkumu v LAK. V závěru textu je nastíněno jak tematické zaměření, tak výčet autorů, kteří přispěli do aktuálního ročníku RDž 2021.Reference
